I was with Summitguides and met Filippo in 2006 during an ascent to Piz Palù in Engadina. I immediately appreciated his leadership skills in managing a group of six people with varying technical and physical abilities. Since then, we’ve spent numerous days in the mountains together. He persuaded me to start ski mountaineering (which was a true revelation for me) and encouraged me to continually challenge my limits. He is a highly competent and reliable guide, with a keen sense of evaluating dangerous situations. The biggest risk with him is feeling overly confident due to his expertise! I also admire his approach to the mountains and how he tailors experiences for his clients, always meeting expectations with well-thought-out routes. Lastly, spending an evening in the refuge with Filippo is always enjoyable, anticipating the adventure of the next day!
